Namdhari Education society Bhojpur, Sunder Nagar has been established to promote quality education with a vision and foresight. Under this society, “Namdhari B.Ed. College” started its functioning w.e.f the session 2007-2008 with an intake of 100 seats. The college has the emphasis has been laid to provide appropriate educational techniques and innovative approach. The emphasis has been laid to provide appropriate educational environment to develop wholesome personality and character building.
The campus is located on NH-21(Chandigarh-Manali-Leh Road) just 200 meter from Sunder Nagar Bus-Stand and is well connected with transport facilities 24 hours a day. College has its own spacious campus at Sunder Nagar and Chamukha (Hara-Bag) catering to all the requirements of NCTE and H.P. University Shimla. The institution has all the modern facilities viz. Good Classrooms, Library, Seminar Hall, Laboratories for different subjects, Computer room, Girl’s & Boys common room, Playground etc. the Institution has scored excellent results in every sessions. The trainee-teachers joining this college shall have benefits of new teaching planning process under the guidance of qualified & experienced staff.
The Bachelor of Education is a Two-Year (4 Semester) Full-Time programme aimed at developing the understanding and competencies required by practicing teachers for effective teaching-learning process at the secondary stage. This programme prepares prospective teachers to understand the psychological and sociological aspects of the child’s development and also understand his behavior under different conditions. The course work combined with rigorous practice of teaching prepares teacher trainees to master the art of teaching and the ability to deal with students based on their individual differences in various classroom situations.
The College recognized by N.C.T.E. under recognition order number NRC/NCTE/F-7/HP-201/2007/27561 dated 13/09/2007 and affiliated with Sardar Patel University, Mandi. The college has sanctioned intake of single units (50 seats) as Co-educational institution. Admission to the B.Ed. course will be made strictly on the basis of merit of marks obtained in the Entrance Test to be conducted by H.P.U. Shimla. The minimum qualifying marks in the Entrance Test will be 35% (i.e. 53 out of 150). In case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Ex-serviceman candidates, the minimum qualifying marks will be 30 %( 45out of 150).

Thus an Education Welfare Trust was formed with sole objective of setting up Education Institute for B.Ed. course and Namdhari College was born.
Authority of the College
- 1. The authority of the college extends over every student on its rolls at all times.
- 2. All students should be modest neat and tidy in dress avoiding expensive clothes and exaggerated fashions.
- 3. Student should be regular in attendance and punctual at all function. They should be in their seat seats before the lecture enters to give the lesson.
- 4. Students are expected to be co-operative with the college authorities in maintaining its high standard of cleanliness and order.
- 5. Visitors are not allowed to go the class-room.
